Stefano Magariello
Stefano is a social scientist with a sociological background and a strong interest in socio-ecological transitions. He first joined Anglia Ruskin University in 2018 as a PhD researcher at the Global Sustainability Institute, working on completing a thesis about exploring sociotechnical imaginaries of municipal energy transition and related policy work practices in Valencia.
He is a postdoctoral research fellow in the School of Life Sciences at ARU.
Tom Hambley
Tom is an environmental psychologist focusing on the role of place relationships within the transition to renewable energy technologies, particularly during engagement for specific projects. He has explored both community and developer perspectives, and has researched the role of place relationships for wind, tidal, and geothermal energy.
He is currently completing his PhD at the Global Sustainability Institute at ARU, where he will begin a postdoctoral research fellowship in February 2024.
Ami Crowther
Ami is a Human Geographer with an interest in all things place, space and scale. Her research focuses on the politics and power dynamics associated with the planning and implementation of decarbonisation visions. Within her research, Ami adopts a relational framework.
Ami is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Global Sustainability Institute, ARU.
